Sophie Elizabeth Pace. RIP, brown dog. 2003-2009. Scared of lady bugs. Loved to lie out in the yard on a cool fall day or a snowy one, or a blizzard. Her ears got real fluffy when she begged. Bad habits: Licking paws loudly at 3am, begging, licking paws loudly at 5am, shedding, stinking, wharking™, begging, and running down the last five steps too quickly. Have you ever tried to stand at the bottom of the stairs and catch a 120-lb dog?
Update: June 24, 2009. Sophie was put to sleep today - her kidneys were failing and she wouldn't eat or drink anymore. We will truly miss that weird dog, even those bad habits.
